Five Florida Gators were named to All-SEC teams on Tuesday, headlined by center Jake Slaughter as a First Team selection.
Running back Jadan Baugh earned a Second Team nod, while left tackle Austin Barber, kicker Trey Smack and long snapper Rocco Underwood landed on the Third Team. It’s the most since Florida saw three players named All-SEC in 2019 and 2020.
Only Underwood made the cut last year (Second Team), despite Slaughter being a consensus All-American. In 2023, defensive end Princely Umanmielen was a second-teamer, and offensive lineman O’Cyrus Torrence made the First Team in 2022. However, the SEC only added Third Team selections in 2024, when the Oklahoma Sooners and the Texas Longhorns joined the conference.
C Jake Slaughter — First Team
Slaughter is considered one of the nation’s top centers and could be a first-round selection in the upcoming NFL draft. He’s a finalist for the Rimington Trophy and Lombardi Award, which go to the nation’s best center and lineman, respectively.
RB Jadan Baugh — Second Team
Baugh emerged as Florida’s best offensive weapon, becoming the 10th Gator to rush for 1,000 yards in a season and the first in a decade. He capped off a 1,170-yard campaign with a 266-yard performance against Florida State, putting his name on multiple Florida record lists. He is one of the best underclassmen running backs in the country and a key focus in Jon Sumrall’s player-retention efforts for next season.
OT Austin Barber — Third Team
Barber was the other stalwart of Florida’s offensive line, playing 750 snaps across all 12 games at left tackle for Florida. Pro Football Focus gave him a run block grade of 82.2 and has him ranked No. 15 among offensive tackles (No. 128 overall) in the 2026 draft class.
K Trey Smack — Third Team
Smack has been Florida’s primary placekicker since 2023. Smack started the season 2-of-5 on field goals, but Billy Napier remained committed to him. Napier said that Florida would “keep letting Trey shoot,” and he went 15-of-17 for the rest of the year, including five field goals fro 50-plus yards.
He took over kickoff from Adam Mihalek as a true freshman in 2022. Smack made 53 of 64 field goal attempts over the past three seasons, going 10-of-13 from 50 yards or further. He made his first 100 point after attempts, ending his Florida career 100-of-101. Smack is a two-time Lou Groza Semifinalist, first in 2023 and again this season.
LS Rocco Underwood — Third Team
Underwood played 103 snaps for Florida — 52 punt coverage and 51 FG/XP kicks — and recorded a fumble recovery against Kentucky. He has been Florida’s primary long snapper for the past four seasons, winning the Mannelly Award last year. He earned a semifinalist nod for the Mannelly this season.
