The Texas A&M Aggies have received a commitment from another five-star prospect, with edge rusher Zyron Forstall joining their 2027 recruiting class on Tuesday. Forstall announced his commitment on social media, simply saying "I'm HOME!!!"

He picked the Aggies over several other elite programs, including the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Miami Hurricanes, and LSU Tigers. He visited Texas A&M over the weekend and is now an Aggie.

Forstall is ranked as the No. 13 overall player and No. 3 edge rusher by 247Sports. While he is originally from New Orleans, he currently attends IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, and is the No. 5 player from Florida.

He played in eight games as a junior, recording 28 tackles, 9.0 tackles for loss, 5.0 sacks, and four quarterback hurries. The 6-foot-4, 225-pounder is at his best rushing the passer due to his jump and impressive speed.

Mike Elko and the Aggies have built a special recruiting class, especially on the defensive side of the ball. Of their 11 commits, 10 are blue-chip prospects, with seven ranked among the top 100 players in the 2027 recruiting cycle. Forstall is now their highest-ranked commit, and their top five commits are all defensive players.

His commitment gives them the No. 2 recruiting class in the country and No. 2 in the SEC, only behind the Oklahoma Sooners, who have 20 commitments. Texas A&M's average player rating of 95.11 is best among schools that have three or more commits.
