Five things to expect in USC’s massive matchup against Oregon

This week, USC will host Oregon in a West Coast clash at the Coliseum. With massive Big Ten and College Football Playoff stakes, it is certainly a huge game for both teams.

Prior to each game this season, I will be giving you five things to expect. So without further ado, here are my predictions for USC-Oregon.

Starting off hot

The offenses will get going early in this one. Both teams score points on their opening possession of the game.

Air raid

Jayden Maiava and Dante Moore are arguably the two best quarterbacks in the Big Ten. Both of them throw for at least 250 yards and two touchdowns.

Nobody is perfect

However, Oregon’s defense is also extremely talented. The Ducks pick off Maiava at least once.

Defensive struggles continue

Last week, the Trojansgave up 35 points to Rutgers. This week, they allow at least 30 against Oregon.

No missed kicks

Last year, USC had a disastrous special teams day against Oregon, including a missed field goal. This year, Trojans kicker Caden Chittenden is perfect on his attempts. (Please do not blame me if this prediction goes wrong.)
