Jake Slaughter finally responded on Monday to the Panini Senior Bowl invitation he received, with the event announcing on social media that the Florida Gators center had officially accepted.
The redshirt senior was Pro Football Focus' fifth-highest-graded center among FBS schools this season with an 78.9 overall offensive grade. He also earned a 78.3 run-blocking mark — the fifth-highest at his position — while his 87.1 pass-blocking rating was the eighth-highest.
Slaughter has been a presence on the Florida Gators' offensive line since 2021, spanning two head coaching tenures — but mostly under Billy Napier's tutelage. He debuted that season against the Samford Bulldogs on Nov. 13 before redshirting, and after that, the rest was history.

This season, he was listed on the Lombardi Award Watch List, Rimington Trophy Watch List, Outland Trophy Watch List and Sporting News Preseason All-America First Team, while also being named a Rimington Trophy Finalist.
He graduated last spring with a degree in Agricultural Education and Communication.
