The Florida football program announced its homecoming opponent for the 2026 campaign on Thursday. On Saturday, Oct. 10, the Gators will host the South Carolina Gamecocks inside Ben Hill Griffin Stadium for their annual alumni event.

The Orange and Blue hold an all-time record of 74-26-2 — including a 32-5 mark since 1989 — in homecoming games dating back to 1916. Florida beat the Mississippi State Bulldogs last year, 23-21, in a white-knuckle affair that required a last-minute interception to preserve the victory.

The Gators have not lost a homecoming game since 2018, when the Missouri Tigers came into the Swamp and left with a 38-17 triumph. Since then, Florida beat South Carolina, along with the Auburn Tigers, Mississippi State and Vanderbilt Commodores — twice — while also earning revenge over Mizzou in 2022.
