The Florida Gators have signed 16 of the 19 committed recruits in the 2026 recruting class.
- Four-star WR Davian Groce
- Four-star CB C.J. Bronaugh
- Four-star EDGE K.J. Ford
- Four-star DT Kendall Guervil
- Four-star TE Heze Kent
- Four-star WR Marquez Daniel
- Four-star DL JaReylan McCoy
- Four-star WR Justin Williams
- Four-star LB Malik Morris
- Four-star QB Will Griffin
- Four-star CB C.J. Hester
- Four-starOT Tyler Chukuyem
- Three-star OT Chancellor Campbell
- Three-star iOL Desmond Green
- Three-star iOL G’Nivre Carr
- Three-star OT Javarii Luckas
The other three are a mixed bag. We saw four-star running back Carsyn Baker, who decommitted shortly after head coach Jon Sumrall took over, commit to the Texas A&M Aggies on Thursday morning. Four-star safety Kaiden Hall is likely to sign on Friday with the Gators, which is a good thing for the Gators, especially after getting the commitment of four-star safety Dylan Purter.
Florida Gators predicted to lose three-star tight end to Washington
The other commit in the Gators’ recruiting class is three-star tight end Kekua Aumua. He committed to the Gators on June 9th, and is now projected to flip his commitment to the Washington Huskies, first reported by Gators Online.
“On Thursday night, one source in Gainesville said confidence on the Florida side is not high. The Gators believe they are on the outside looking in as the clock winds down. A source outside the Florida bubble echoed that feeling, saying Washington has the most buzz right now and is trending going into Friday.
“So, because of that, Gators Online co-worker Blake Alderman and I have changed our RPM picks to Washington.”
He played his junior season at IMG Academy, which is how the Gators got involved with him. It’s easy to visit Gainesville, and he did so multiple times. The Hawaii product decided to move back home, and it’s been a major factor in his decision. The flight from Seattle to Honolulu is half as long as the flight when departing from Tampa Bay.
It’s a tough loss for the Gators, who now only have Kent at tight end, and it’s certainly possible that he will eventually move to offensive tackle at his size. If Aumua does end up picking the Huskies, the Gators will be down to 18 potential signees in the early signing period, unless they can get another recruit to flip.
