Florida governor, famous podcaster in attendance to watch Florida football vs Ole Miss, Lane Kiffin

OXFORD, Miss. − A surprise guest showed up for Florida football's matchup at No. 7 Ole Miss on Nov. 15.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis was among the crowd at Vaught Hemingway-Stadium and took in some pregame tailgating at The Grove as well. DeSantis was even quote-tweeted by Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin.

Kiffin is rumored to be the lead candidate that the Florida Gators are targeting for their head coaching vacancy, so the presence of DeSantis raises at least a few eyebrows. Ole Miss (9-1, 5-1 SEC) is vying for its third straight 10-win season under Kiffin, while Florida (3-6, 2-4 SEC) is trying to avoid a fourth losing season in five years.
Before the game, the 50-year Kiffin entered the stadium with podcaster and comedian Theo Von. The 45-year-old Von, from Covington, La., hosts a popular podcast, "This Past Weekend" which Kiffin has appeared on in past episodes. Von's following on social media includes 8.6 million on Instagram and over 4.3 million on YouTube.
