Florida State has a new target in the 2028 recruiting class as they continue to try to replace the loss of three-star wide receiver Lamar Garrison, who decommitted in February. They've made a scholarship offer to blue-chip edge Christopher Sanon out of Orlando, Florida.
"#AGTGโ๏ธ Very Excited And Blessed To Say I Have Received A Division One Offer From Florida State University ๐ข๐ข," Sanon said on social media.
The recruitment of Sanon has picked up tremendously as of late. Pittsburgh, Kansas, South Florida, and Coastal Carolina have all offered him this month as well.
The 6-foot-2, 230-pounder is the No. 236 recruit nationally and the No. 23 edge in the country per the 247Sports composite rankings. He's also the No. 33 edge in the state of Florida.
Sanon showed he was a player to be reckoned with as a sophomore at Evans High School. He tallied 42 tackles, 28 tackles for loss, 22 sacks, 13 quarterback hurries, three pass breakups, and one fumble recovery.
Sanon was on campus for a visit to FSU in April, which was his first trip to Tallahassee. They will now look to get him back on campus for another visit now that he has an offer.
