The Florida State Seminoles have been on a heater on the recruiting front over the last few weeks, and it continued on Monday. Three-star linebacker CJ Ohuabunwa has committed to the Seminoles.

The 6-foot-2, 205-pounder is the No. 1,521 overall prospect in the nation and the No. 147 linebacker in Rivals industry rankings. In the state of Georgia, he's listed as the No. 155 recruit.

With Ohuabunwa on board, FSU now has 12 commitments in its 2027 recruiting class. He's the third linebacker, along with four-star Jernard Albright and three-star Olrick Johnson III. They've all committed over the last two weeks, which means linebackers coach Ernie Sims is on a heck of a roll. This also continues the Seminoles' momentum in landing players from Georgia, as Ohuabunwa is the fourth of the cycle.

He performed at a very high level during his junior campaign at the Greater Atlanta Christian School. Ohuabunwa produced 124 tackles, eight tackles for loss, two sacks, one interception, four pass breakups, and one forced fumble. He also put points on the board by recording a safety.

FSU has two more potential commits coming this week as they sit in a great position to land four-star defensive lineman Sam LeJeune and three-star running back Marquis Fennell.
