Three-star cornerback Brandon Allen is currently committed to Mississippi State. However, Florida State has their eyes on the Westlake High School standout.
FSU offered Allen back in November, and he was also on campus during their Junior Day event on March 7. This pursuit by the Seminoles has made them a key factor in the recruitment of Allen according to Chad Simmons of Rivals.
Brandon Allen remains committed to Mississippi State, but the Atlanta cornerback will be one to watch in the coming weeks as he continues to take visits. Georgia Tech is firmly on his radar as the hometown program, while Florida State is another school to keep an eye on. Allen has an official visit scheduled to Florida State in June and also has official visits locked in with Vanderbilt and Virginia Tech.
Florida State has their official visit with Allen in between his trips to Vanderbilt and Mississippi State. It will be the third time he has taken a trip to Tallahassee and makes FSU the most frequent place he’s visited up until this point.
Allen played in 10 games this past season for Westlake High School in Atlanta, Georgia. He finished with 22 tackles (16 solo), two tackles for loss, and one fumble recovery. Allen also contributed as a wide receiver with 11 receptions for 123 yards and two touchdowns.
The 6-foot-2, 175-pounder is the No. 669 overall recruit and the nation’s No. 69 cornerback per Rivals industry rankings. He’s also the No. 80 prospect in the state of Georgia.
FSU is recruiting three-star cornerback Khamani Estrada and three-star edge Elijah Cox as well. Both high school teammates of Allen.
