2028 four-star offensive tackle Wyatt VanBoening has seen his recruitment pick up a ton of steam since the beginning of this year. His offer list has skyrocketed to 20 as programs like the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Auburn Tigers, Wisconsin Badgers, Nebraska Cornhuskers, and Indiana Hoosiers have gotten into the mix for him.

The Florida State Seminoles have now entered the sweepstakes for the 6-foot-7, 280-pounder. He went to social media on Thursday morning to announce his offer from FSU.

"I am excited to receive an offer from Florida State University! Thank you, @FSUFootball , for this opportunity!," VanBoening said.

He is the No. 80 recruit in the nation and the No. 11 offensive tackle per the 247Sports composite rankings. He's listed as the No. 7 player in the state of Illinois as well.

In addition to being a star football player, VanBoening also excels in track and field. He competed in the Region 7 Junior Olympics in the shot put, discus, and the hammer throw in June of 2024. In April, he had a rep of 50-1 in the shot put and a 158-2.25 in the discus.

VanBoening is certainly an intriguing prospect to keep an eye on for FSU in the 2028 cycle.
