Florida State is seeking more edge talent in the 2027 class. One of their targets is three-star Jaxon Holly, who they offered back in December.

The 6-foot-2, 215-pounder is being recruited by some of the top programs in the Southeast. However, FSU and a SEC powerhouse are leading the way, per Chad Simmons of Rivals.

Florida State and Georgia are recruiting pass rusher Jaxon Holly the hardest heading into a busy stretch of visits. Holly is scheduled to return to Athens on March 17 before heading to Tallahassee on April 4. He is planning to take official visits to Florida State, Georgia, Alabama and LSU, with the possibility of adding one more trip. A decision is expected later this summer, and the programs that push the hardest down the stretch will likely have the edge.

When Holly comes to Tallahassee next month, it will be his first time on campus. With a decision likely to come during the summer, it's critical that the Seminoles do all they can to take the lead in his recruitment.

Holly has been a productive player over the last two seasons at Alpharetta High School. He logged 27 tackles, five tackles for loss, three sacks, one forced fumble, and one pass breakup in 2024 as a sophomore. Holly then registered 32 tackles, seven tackles for loss, two sacks, one forced fumble, and two pass breakups this past season as a junior.

He is the nation's No. 539 overall recruit and the No. 55 edge per the Rivals industry rankings. Holly is the No. 63 prospect in the state of Georgia as well.
