Football transfer portal tracker for former Upstate high school players

NCAAF College Football News, Photos, Stats, Scores, Schedule & Videos...

The Upstate has plenty of former high school football standouts in the college transfer portal, which opened Jan. 2 and close Jan. 16. 

The Greenville News and Spartanburg Herald-Journal are tracking locals who are on the move. Here are those players with position, high school and former college.

BJ Atkins, WR, Christ Church (Presbyterian)  

Atkins (5-foot-11, 182 pounds) spent two seasons at Presbyterian, appearing in 10 games in 2024 and then breaking out in 2025 with 27 catches for 373 yards and a touchdown.

Ahmad Carwise, OL, Woodmont (Gardner-Webb) 

Carwise became a starter in 2025 as a redshirt freshman and did not allow a sack in 207 snaps covering the past two years. Carwise (6-5, 310) was Class 3A all-state and first-team all-Upstate as a Woodmont senior. 

Knai Cook, DB, Byrnes (Charleston Southern) 

Cook was second-team All-Big South Conference in 2025 as a sophomore. He started 12 games and made 34 tackles, with three forced fumbles. Cook (6-0, 200) made the North-South All-Star game as a Byrnes senior, when he also had more than 1,000 yards of total offense as a running back. 

Rashawn Cunningham, WR, Chapman (Charleston Southern) 

Cunningham (6-2, 205) was an FCS freshman All-American and first-team All-Big South in 2025. He had 33 catches for 604 yards and seven touchdowns. In a game against UT Martin, he had seven catches for 216 yards and a TD. 

Jesse Igwe, OL, Riverside (Tennessee State) 

Igwe is looking for his fourth school. He spent the 2023 season at Gardner-Webb; 2024 at Charleston, West Virginia; and 2025 at Tennessee State. Igwe (6-2, 315) started all 12 games for Tennessee State at guard and center, allowing zero sacks. 

Brayshawn Littlejohn, LB, Gaffney (Appalachian State) 

Littlejohn was ranked as the No. 25 overall player in his 2023 graduating class, according to 247Sports, and spent his first two years at Missouri. He played in eight games, with six tackles, as a redshirt freshman. Littlejohn (6-0, 220) in 2025 at Appalachian State had 32 tackles, 17 quarterback pressures and two sacks. 

Emazon Littlejohn, WR, Gaffney (South Carolina) 

Littlejohn (6-0, 188) posted on social media Jan. 5 that he has committed to Western Michigan. As a freshman in 2024 with South Carolina, he won the team’s offensive scout team award and appeared in one game. Littlejohn was a North-South all-star for Gaffney, where he totaled 1,751 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns. 

KD Mosley, TE, Greenville (Howard) 

Mosley (6-3, 220) as a sophomore in 2025 had 14 catches for 129 yards and two touchdowns. He will have two years of eligibility remaining. 

Abijah Webb, WR, Pendleton (The Citadel) 

Webb (5-11, 220) played in six games as a freshman in 2025 with one catch. He was a North-South all-star as a Pendleton senior.
