Former Alabama offensive lineman Olaus Alinen has officially committed to Kentucky.

A former four-star recruit, Alinen is a talented player that will more than likely thrive during his tenure at Kentucky. The 6'6", 322 pound big man will have two years of eligibility remaining, as Alinen was a redshirt sophomore this past season, and has played primarily on the special teams unit throughout his time in Tuscaloosa.

A native of Finland, Alinen could quickly take on a large workload in Lexington as the former member of the Crimson Tide has officially seen his time in Tuscaloosa come to an end.

Alinen was ranked as the No. 14 offensive tackle and the No. 167 overall player from the class of 2023, per the 247Sports Composite rankings. Alinen could quickly emerge as an anchor on Kentucky's offensive line, as the talented tackle struggled to fit into the regular rotation on Alabama's offensive line throughout the past two seasons.

Alinen and the Wildcats will face the Crimson Tide on Sept. 12 in Lexington.
