Auburn freshman quarterback Deuce Knight is signing with Ole Miss out of the transfer portal, per On3 Sports.

A five-star recruit out of high school in 2025, according to On3. Deuce Knight spent only one season at Auburn and saw the field just once as a starter. Knight came in for the Tigers late in the Ball State win. He threw just 2-of-5 for 20 yards passing and was sacked once. Later, he would be named to start against Mercer late in the season.

Knight lit it up in his one start, throwing 15-of-20 for 239 yards passing, nine rushes for 162 yards rushing, and finished the game with a 99.8 QBR. The highly touted recruit out of Mississippi showed flashes of a quarterback with a high ceiling. Knight announced his portal entry back on Jan. 2. Since then, the Tigers have landed quarterbacks Locklan Hewlett and Byrum Brown.

Knight is joining a Rebels team that just fell short of a National Championship appearance. He will have a good shot at the starting job next season with the denied waiver for star quarterback Trinidad Chambless. Auburn will see Knight and Ole Miss next season on Nov. 7 in Oxford, Mississippi.
