Former LSU head coach Brian Kelly has found a new gig.

Kelly is taking the year off from coaching after he was fired midway through the 2025 season, and now, he'll try his hand at television. On Wednesday, Front Office Sports' Ryan Glasspiegel reported that Kelly has joined CBS Sports as a college football analyst for the 2026 season.

He will reportedly call Mountain West game for the network and will also appear on "Inside College Football," a weekday college football talk show on CBS Sports Network, as an analyst.

Kelly was the winningest coach in Notre Dame history during his decade-plus stint with the Fighting Irish, and though he had a 34-14 record in Baton Rouge, he was fired amid a 5-3 start in Year 4 after he failed to reach the College Football Playoff.

Kelly, who turns 65 in October, told USA TODAY Sports in April that he intends to coach again. Whether he's coaching again in 2027 or still doing TV remains to be seen.
