According to a report from Pete Nakos of On3, former Michigan State football quarterback Aidan Chiles is visiting with a rival Big Ten school on Tuesday. According to Nakos, Chiles is meeting with Northwestern, which recently brought in a high-profile offensive coordinator in Chip Kelly to run the offense.
Chiles, of course, started his career as a 4-star recruit for Oregon State before following Jonathan Smith to Michigan State. With the emergence of Alessio Milivojevic, a banged-up Chiles lost his starting spot, and with the firing of his long-time coach Jonathan Smith, it was expected for him to leave East Lansing in search of a new home.
There were reports that Chiles was speaking with Virginia and Clemson for his services, but a move to Northwestern would also make sense for Chiles. Chiles is currently the No. 92-ranked player overall in the transfer portal and the No. 13-ranked quarterback.

The former Oregon State transfer has thrown for 4,116 career yards and 27 TDs. Has also rushed for 12 TDs. Would be a key addition for new OC Chip Kelly. https://t.co/iVsfUcvzmshttps://t.co/l2EXV48TvZpic.twitter.com/JBWh0pZIa5
