A former Nebraska running back has found a new home for the 2026 season. Jamarion Parker will play for Grambling State.

Parker didn’t play this past season. He committed to Nebraska as a four-star recruit in June 2024, after initially committing to Arkansas.

The St. Louis, Missouri, native tallied over 3,600 career rushing yards for Cardinal Ritter College Prep. In his senior year, he ran for 1,730 yards and 24 touchdowns on 168 carries.

Parker will be playing for a familiar face at Grambling State. Former Nebraska interim head coach Mickey Joseph leads the Tigers.

Joseph is entering his third season at Grambling State and holds a 12-11 record. Last season, he finished 7-5 overall and 4-4 in the SWAC.
