Another former Oregon Duck has found a new home via the transfer portal, as tight end/H-back Zach Grace has committed to the LSU Tigers. On3’s Hayes Fawcett was the first to report the news.

Grace was unranked as a prospect coming out of Kearney, MO, and didn’t appear in a game in 2023 as a true freshman, utilizing a redshirt. He saw action in ten games in 2024, mostly as a fullback and on special teams.

Despite never catching a pass during his three seasons as a Duck, the 6-foot-3, 238-pounder was a key contributor in short-yardage packages for Oregon in 2025, appearing in every game and playing in over 100 snaps.

Grace wasn’t alone in the tight end room in entering the transfer portal, as he was joined by Roger Saleapaga, Kade Caton and Vander Ploog.

The departure of the Missouri native may have something to do with the return of Jamari Johnson and the arrival of both 2025 five-star tight end Andrew Olesh, who’s transferring in from Penn State, and 2026 five-star Kendre Harrison.

Grace will have two seasons of eligiblity with the Tigers.
