After seeming to fall out of the rotation in 2025, Oregon Ducks wide receiver Justius Lowe announced his intentions of entering the transfer portal prior to the team’s College Football Playoff run.

Now, the former Duck has found a new home with the announcement of his commitment to the San Diego State Aztecs.

Lowe was a four-star prospect and the No. 14 ATH in the 2022 recruiting class out of Lake Oswego High School in Lake Oswego, Ore. The 6-foot-1, 185-pounder committed to the nearby Ducks and redshirted as a true freshman before seeing the field in four games in 2023.

Lowe began to crack the rotation as a redshirt sophomore in 2024, as he appeared in 11 games and made five starts while finishing the season with 21 receptions for 203 yards and a touchdown. But his playing time diminished in 2025, as he caught just six passes for 56 yards, likely leading to his departure.

The Oregon native now joins an Aztecs squad that went 9-4 in 2025, finishing in a four-way tie for first place in the Mountain West Conference.

Lowe will have two seasons of eligibility remaining.
