He left the valley, but now he’s found a home in the Southeastern Conference.
Raleek Brown, a former standout at Arizona State University, is officially in the Lone Star state. He committed to the Texas Longhorns out the transfer portal via Hayes Fawcett of On3. Brown was an explosive running back for the Sun Devils in 2025, posting 1,,141 yards rushing and four touchdowns on 186 carries. The 5-foot-9, 195-pounder from California had four 100-plus yard outings last season, including a career performance of255 yards with a touchdown in a 42-17 victory over Colorado.
Three of his four 100+ yard games led the Sun Devils to wins. He captured a Big 12 Championship and College Football Playoff appearance in 2024. Brown’s running style does fit the SEC, but we will see how he fares away from ASU.
