Four Licking County teams represented on All-Ohio Division IV, V lists

COLUMBUS — Ten more Licking County football players were selected by the Ohio Preps Sportsmedia Association to All-Ohio teams on Dec. 9.

Johnstown’s Ryan Sager and Erik Marohl and Heath’s J.J. Holloway were named to the first team in Division IV. Northridge’s Charlie Kinkead was named to the first team in Division V.

Johnstown’s Greyson Goodman was named to the second team in Division IV and teammate Landon Myers and Heath’s Tristyn Jones each to the third team, with Utica’s Kam Hall earning third-team honors in Division V. Johnstown’s Ben Smith was named to the honorable mention list in Division IV, and Utica’s Hunter McKinney was named to the honorable mention list in Division V.

Sager, a junior running back, racked up 2,090 rushing yards and 37 touchdowns for the Johnnies. Marohl, a senior punter, averaged 41 yards per punt with a long of 55 and 10 inside the 20-yard line.

Holloway, a senior, piled up 111 tackles, including 15 for loss, and forced three fumbles for the Bulldogs. He led them to the Licking County League-Cardinal Division championship.

Kinkead, a senior, averaged 40 yards per punt for the Vikings. He had a long of 60 yards and dropped 12 inside the 20.

Goodman, a senior tight end, Myers, a senior fullback, and Smith, a senior lineman, all had a hand in a dominant Johnstown running game that averaged 348 yards per game and produced 66 TDs. Goodman also caught 12 passes for 212 yards and a score, and Myers ran for 1,076 yards and 16 TDs. 

Jones, a junior running back, rushed for 1,155 yards and 12 TDs for Heath. Hall, a senior linebacker, made 54 tackles and one interception for Utica, and teammate McKinney, a senior receiver, caught 46 passes for 546 yards and six TDs.
