Class of 2027 four-star ATH Tae Walden Jr announces Auburn to be one of his final five schools for his commitment, via Hayes Fawcett of Rivals.

Head coach Alex Golesh and his staff have been lighting up the recruiting board all June, and yet no sign of them slowing down. Walden Jr is a four-star 6-foot-2, 165-pound defensive back coming out of Collierville High School in Collierville, Tennessee.

The Tigers are recruiting him as an athlete, and see value in him playing secondary and or wide receiver. He ranks in the top-10 in the nation, listed as an athlete and top-5 in the state of Tennessee, according to 247 Sports and Rivals. Walden Jr’s 247Sports score is a 94.

He was a part of the May 29 visit that saw so many commits for the Tigers, one being four-star linebacker Isaac McNeil. Cornerback coach DeMarcus Van Dyke and wide receiver coach Kodi Burns have been a part of his recruitment for the Tigers.

In his junior season, he posted 42 catches for 912 yards and 10 TDs. While on defense, he recorded 28 tackles, 17 PBU, and 5 INT.

He and many others will be a part of the Rivals Summer Signing Day Show taking place July 1. Walden Jr will make his announcement between Auburn, Georgia, LSU, Ole Miss, and Oregon.
