Four-star linebacker to visit for Tennessee-Alabama football game

2028 four-star linebacker Ryan Peterson will visit Tennessee for the Vols’ football game against Alabama on Oct. 17, according to Tyler Harden of 247Sports.

He will also visit LSU, Michigan, Texas A&M, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, USC, Notre Dame and Auburn this season.

The 6-foot-1, 220-pound prospect is from Hough High School in Cornelius, North Carolina. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 7 linebacker in the class and No. 6 player in North Carolina.

Tennessee offered Peterson a scholarship on April 29. He visited the Vols for Big Orange BBQ on May 30.

Georgia State was the first school to offer him a scholarship on June 8, 2024. Other schools to offer Peterson scholarships include Troy, Alabama, Florida State, Missouri, North Carolina, Penn State, SMU, Texas, Ohio State, Kentucky, Appalachian State, East Carolina, North Carolina State, Miami, Ole Miss, Virginia Tech, Oklahoma, Oregon, Wisconsin, West Virginia and Indiana.

Tennessee does not have a commitment in its 2028 football recruiting class.
