It seemed like four-star wide receiver Iveon Lewis was ready to take his talents to Kentucky, but the Virginia playmaker decided to flip his commitment.

Instead, Lewis has committed to head coach Shane Beamer and South Carolina. He had a standout junior season at Huguenot High School, snatching 42 passes for 1,046 yards and 12 touchdowns.

It continued the prolific production he displayed as a sophomore, where he caught 45 passes for 1,069 yards and 14 touchdowns.

Lewis committed to Kentucky in early May, beating out South Carolina, Georgia, Maryland, and Virginia Tech at the time, and reportedly moved up his decision date by nearly two months with his first commitment.

Lewis and offensive lineman James Ross are coach Beamer's 10th and 11th verbal commitments for the 2027 class.
