No. 3 Texas A&M (9-0, 6-0 SEC) will host South Carolina (3-6, 1-6 SEC) for the first game in Kyle Field since the Aggies defeated Florida 34-17 on October 11. Less than a week after the Aggies defeated Missouri 38-17 on the road in Week 11, Texas A&M did not move up in the latest CFP rankings, staying at No. 3 behind No. 2 Indiana and No. 1 Ohio State.

Nevertheless, head coach Mike Elko and his team are focused on the Gamecocks, knowing that, despite being undefeated and a massive home favorite, last season’s 44-20 loss in Williams-Brice Stadium is still on the minds of nearly every player who was on the roster this time last year.

On Wednesday, the first SEC Availability Report revealed that senior running back Le’Veon Moss, senior safety Bryce Anderson, and freshman safety Rashad “Tom Tom” Johnson will miss Saturday’s game. In contrast, senior linebacker Scooby Williams, who has missed more than several games this season, including last Saturday vs. Missouri, was listed as doubtful.

However, the most significant addition was sophomore wide receiver Mario Craver, who leads the Aggies with 775 receiving yards, and was listed as questionable with a lower-body injury sustained in the second half against the Tigers.

Thursday’s latest injury report saw Scooby Williams designated as out for Saturday, joining Anderson, Moss, and Johnson, while Mario Craver is still questionable with a 50% of taking the field. If Moss cannot play, look for Ashton Bethel-Roman or Terry Bussey to fill in at the No. 2 spot.

With Williams out for the second straight game, junior linebacker Daymion Sanford was named SEC Defensive Player of the Week after producing five tackles and a sack fumble that set up the Aggies’ second touchdown in the first half against Missouri.
