Henry Fenuku, a true freshman offensive lineman for Missouri football, intends to enter the transfer portal this offseason.
Fenuku reposted a report from Mike Roach of 247Sports on Thursday that signaled the rookie’s intent to transfer. He is now the fourth Mizzou true freshman to indicate that they will leave the team in January and the ninth Tiger to indicate an intention to leave.
The college football transfer portal officially opens Jan. 2 and will remain open for new entries through Jan. 16.
Fenuku follows defensive end Javion Hilson and running backs Marquise Davis and Brendon Haygood as the rookies on their way out of Columbia, which marks more than 20% of the Tigers’ Class of 2025.
Mizzou also is expected to lose quarterback Beau Pribula, wide receivers Joshua Manning, Marquis Johnson and James Madison II from the offense. Safety Caleb Flagg left the team midseason and is expected to transfer.
Fenuku took third-team reps at center this season, playing behind starter Connor Tollison and backup Tristan Wilson.
The rookie, who was a four-star signing out of Fort Worth, Texas, played 20 total snaps this season, per Pro Football Focus. Those backup reps came in nonconference games against Central Arkansas, UMass and Louisiana and were split between center and right guard.
Fenuku preserved a redshirt and will have four remaining years of eligibility.
