FSU football's Darrell Jackson Jr. to play in East-West Shrine Bowl

As Darrell Jackson Jr. prepares for his NFL journey, he will get an opportunity to showcase himself at the East-West Shrine Bowl. The former Florida State defensive tackle accepted the invite on Thursday.
Jackson announced on Dec. 4 that he has entered the 2026 NFL Draft. He just completed his third season at FSU. He recorded 45 tackles and a sack in his final season and was named to the All-ACC honorable mention team.

In his five-year college career, the Havana native produced 127 total tackles, 7.5 sacks, two pass deflections and one forced fumble. Jackson began at career at Maryland in 2021 and at Miami in 2022.
The East-West Shrine Bowl game will kick off on Jan. 27 in Frisco, Texas.
