The FSU Seminoles have two commitments in their 2028 recruiting class, and Mike Norvell's program is working to add a quarterback to lead the group. Arguably their top target is Chadler Dyson, a four-star prospect from Warner Robins, Georgia.
They have been recruiting him since June 15, and have seemingly been doing a great job from the start, consistently being named as one of the leaders in his recruitment. Chad Simmons of Rivals echoed those thoughts on Monday, saying they have recruited him "relentlessly" over the summer and are the "team others are chasing."
According to Simmons, several factors have caused them to surge ahead in his recruitment, including the fact that Norvell is personally recruiting Dyson and his history developing quarterbacks. Norvell will once again be FSU's play-caller in 2026, giving him another chance to impress Dyson.
He is ranked as the No. 153 overall player and No. 10 quarterback in the Rivals industry ranking. He is also the No. 22 player from Georgia.
While FSU may have emerged as the leader for Dyson, they will need to keep pushing. He has over a dozen scholarship offers at the moment, and more are likely coming for the 6-foot-3, 230-pounder who has yet to play his junior season.
