Florida State is working to improve its 2027 recruiting class, which recently landed three-star athlete Dayon Cooper. One of their top targets is three-star defensive lineman Jason Lewis, with whom they’ve positioned themselves well.
Noles247’s Zach Blostein took things up a notch on Tuesday morning. He has logged a crystal ball prediction for FSU to get a commitment from the standout at Osceola High School in Kissimmee, Florida.
The Seminoles offered Lewis in February, and they’ve been consistent with having him on campus. He took an unofficial visit on March 13, and then took another one this past weekend as he attended a spring scrimmage. Lewis also has an official visit locked in with Florida State on June 5.
Lewis is the nation’s No. 538 overall player and the No. 63 defensive lineman in the 247Sports composite. The 6-foot-4, 260-pounder is the No. 47 prospect in the state of Florida.
A decision from Lewis is expected in early July, which means his official visit could seal the deal for FSU, assuming they don’t do so beforehand.
