The Florida State Seminoles are in a good spot for several of their top quarterback targets in the 2028 recruiting cycle, including Luke Rubley, a four-star prospect from Aurora, Colorado.

Despite living so far away, he has already visited Tallahassee four times during his recruitment, which has developed into a national battle. The 6-foot-3, 180-pounder has over 15 scholarship offers, including from the Oregon Ducks, Indiana Hoosiers, and Arizona State Sun Devils.

The relationships he has built with FSU's coaching staff have them firmly in the race to land his commitment, and he is planning to be back on campus this season for a game.

"I have one game visit set, I have Oregon the weekend of the Nebraska game," Rubley told Collin Kennedy of 247Sports. "That's like mid-October. I for sure want to get to Florida State. A couple others as well, but I haven't focused on that much yet. I haven't put time into all that yet, but I will."

He has already visited FSU twice this year, taking an unofficial visit in April and returning for a camp in June. He has yet to witness a game in Doak Campbell Stadium, and the Seminoles will look to impress him when he changes that this season.

Rubley had a productive sophomore season at Regis Jesuit High School. He completed 60.8% of his passes for 2,084 yards, 20 touchdowns, and five interceptions. He rushed for four more touchdowns.
