The FSU Seminoles are hoping to turn their 2026 season around on the road.

The Seminoles are set to play the No. 10 Alabama Crimson Tide in Bryant-Denny Stadium in a crucial Week 3 showdown. FSU split its first two games, but did not impress in either of them: a win over the New Mexico State Aggies and a close loss to the SMU Mustangs.

They are coming off a bye and are hoping the extra time will allow the offense and defense to find their groove. Running backs Ousmane Kromah and Samuel Singleton Jr. have both had great starts to the season, but Ashton Daniels has struggled to find success throwing the ball.

The defense did generate four turnovers against SMU, but it has struggled outside of that. They are one of the worst defenses in the country on third down and have far too many communication busts in the secondary, allowing wide receivers and tight ends to run free for explosive gains.

Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET, with ABC carrying the national broadcast. FSU is nearly a three-touchdown underdog, with few experts expecting them to pull off the upset.

FSU enters this game coming off a bye and in desperate need of a win, which can often be a formula for success, but it won't be easy. This Alabama team looks much better than last year's team that the Seminoles stunned, and they won't be able to sneak up on them this time around.

Florida State has struggled on offense and defense in their first two games, and it will be even tougher on Saturday in a rowdy Bryant-Denny Stadium. Both sides of the ball will continue to make mistakes as Alabama cruises to a comfortable win.
