FSU wide receiver Jayvan Boggs planning to enter transfer portal

Florida State has seen plenty of players declare their intent to enter the transfer portal, but it has largely been able to avoid losing promising young players.

That changed today, as wide receiver Jayvan Boggs has decided to hit the portal, according to reports from both On3 and Noles247.

Boggs was highly productive in his senior year of high school and parlayed that into an early role in the wide receiver rotation, becoming the first true freshman to earn a season-opening start at wide receiver since 1992. Of the eight games he saw action in, he started four of them. He battled through injuries and logged nine catches for 103 yards and a touchdown. He also overcame a scary instance when he collapsed right after the NC State game.

Boggs has the build and skill set to make a big impact at his next destination, should he ultimately leave Tallahassee.

From his FSU bio:
