The FSU Seminoles have added seven players to their 2027 recruiting class in June, including all three of their linebacker commits. The latest is three-star CJ Ohuabunwa, who is from Norcross, Georgia, and committed on Monday.

Ohuabunwa picked Florida State over the Virginia Tech Hokies, Kansas Jayhawks, and Louisville Cardinals. The Seminoles hosted him on his final official visit over the weekend, taking control of his recruitment. New linebackers coach Ernie Sims now has commitments from Ohuabunwa, Olrick Johnson III, and Jernard Albright, FSU’s highest-rated commit.

The group helps form the strength of FSU’s recruiting class, which is focused on the front seven. Six of their 12 commits will play either linebacker of along the defensive line for the Seminoles.

Ohuabunwa had an extremely productive junior season at Greater Atlanta Christian, helping them go 10-3. He finished the season with 117 tackles, 3.0 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks, one interception, and two pass breakups.

The Seminoles now have 12 total commitments and have the No. 56 recruiting class in the country according to the 247Sports team rankings. Here is how FSU’s recruiting class compares to the rest of the ACC.
