The Georgia Bulldogs are going to try this season to win another national championship as they have been unable to accomplish the ultimate goal the last three years, and there's a lot to like about their chances.

Under Kirby Smart, the Dawgs are always going to have one of the best rosters in the country, but like everyone else, some groups on the team will naturally be stronger than others.

Georgia has made it a habit of developing tremendous tight ends and sending them to the NFL, and while no player at the position to come through in the future may reach the heights of Brock Bowers, the depth of the room right now may be as strong as it has ever been.

Here are the three names who are going to all add an element to this room.

TE1: Lawson Luckie

Luckie has not put up extremely gaudy numbers with less than 200 yards last year, though all four of his touchdowns were extremely significant with three against Ole Miss and one in the SEC title game against Alabama.

Arguably the best blocking tight end in the country, Luckie leads the charge both in the run game and the passing game, and he will be a massive part of this offense in all phases once again this year.

He could be due for his biggest season yet.

TE2: Jaden Reddell

A former four-star recruit, Reddell did not add a ton to the offense as a freshman in 2025, but he did make some serious noise this spring and had a huge performance in the spring game to draw attention from fans.

If Luckie does not become a much bigger part of the offense in terms of catching the ball, look for Reddell to pick up those targets and potentially be one of the breakout candidates for the Bulldogs this season.

TE3: Ethan Barbour

Another four-star recruit, Barbour is entering his freshman season with a little bit of a tough road ahead towards getting on the field. Like the two in front of him, he can block and he can catch the ball, but ultimately it would be a bit of a surprise to see him in a huge role in his first year.

Clearly impressing his teammates and coaches throughout the spring though, Barbour may find a way to get on the field and contribute in some capacity, especially if injuries were to occur.

Wild Card: Kaiden Prothro

Another rising freshman, the depth of the tight end room is likely going to relegate Prothro to a role in the slot to begin his career as he is too talented to keep off the field. Still, if there were to be injuries, the 6-foot-6 go up and get it specialist could very well see some real time at tight end this year.
