The Georgia Bulldogs have flipped four-star Penn State Nittany Lions commitment Elijah Littlejohn, who is a member of the class of 2026. Littlejohn is a linebacker recruit and reopened his recruitment after the Nittany Lions fired head coach James Franklin.
Littlejohn visited Georgia for the Ole Miss, Texas and Charlotte games this fall. The Bulldogs made a strong impression on him. “I’m home,” Littlejohn said via social media after committing to Georgia. The four-star picked Georgia over Vanderbilt, who he also visited after decommitting from Penn State.
Littlejohn plays high school football for West Charlotte High School in Charlotte, North Carolina. The four-star primarily serves as an edge defender for West Charlotte. The 6-foot-2, 215-pound linebacker is Georgia’s replacement from UGA linebacker decommitment Shadarius Toodle, who flipped to Auburn in October.
Littlejohn is ranked as the No. 408 recruit in America and the No. 18 player in North Carolina, per 247Sports. Littlejohn is the No. 31 linebacker in the country. It is unclear if he’ll primarily play on the edge and as an inside linebacker in college. Either way, Georgia and defensive coordinator Glenn Schumann love versatility.
Littlejohn joins four-star Nick Abrams as Georgia’s two linebacker commitments in the 2026 recruiting cycle. The Bulldogs and coach Kirby Smart also have commitments from edge rushers Pierre Dean (four-star) and Khamari Brooks (four-star). Georgia has 31 commitments in the class of 2026 and the No. 3 recruiting class in the nation.
