Georgia football, Kirby Smart offers Maddox Porter, a BGA freshman receiver

Maddox Porter, a freshman wide receiver at Battle Ground Academy, has picked up an offer from Georgia football.
Porter announced the offer on social media on Nov. 10.
The offer from coach Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs was the 19th for the 6-foot-2, 180-pound Porter. He holds offers from Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Arizona State, Colorado, Kentucky, Louisville, Maryland, Mississippi State, Nebraska and SMU per his 247Sports page.

Porter has 61 catches for 1,199 yards and 23 touchdowns this season, helping lead a BGA offense that averages 48 points per game. The Bulldogs (10-1) are ranked No. 3 in Division II-AA and No. 15 in the Tennessean’s Super 25 poll heading into the second round of the TSSAA football playoffs.
BGA, which reached the DII-AA state championship game in 2024, plays at Knoxville Grace (9-2) in the second round on Nov. 14.
