Georgia football has landed its highest-rated prospect so far for the 2027 recruiting class.
Five-star running back Kemon Spell from McKeesport, Pa., announced his commitment on Monday Feb. 2 on social media.
That came after a weekend visit to Georgia and coach Kirby Smart.
Spell is the top-rated running back in the 2027 class by the 247Sports Composite and the top rated player in Pennsylvania.
“At 5-foot-9 and 205 pounds, Spell blends power and burst, earning comparisons to NFL running back Blake Corum for his low center of gravity and relentless yards‑after‑contact ability,” according to USA TODAY High School Sports.

Spell is the sixth commitment for Georgia’s 2027 class and first five-star.
He picked Georgia over Bulldogs over Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oregon, Miami and others, according to On3.
