The Georgia Bulldogs have earned a major commit that was previously committed to an SEC rival. Four-star offensive lineman Tyreek Jemison, who decommitted from the Kentucky Wildcats in October, committed to Georgia at his high school and has now signed with the Bulldogs.
Jemison is a four-star offensive lineman from the class of 2026. The 6-foot-5, 325-pound interior lineman plays high school football for Paulding County High School in Dallas, Georgia. He is ranked as the No. 13 interior offensive lineman and No. 237 overall prospect in the nation. He is also the No. 20 prospect in Georgia.
Jemison committed to the Wildcats on June 27, but he decommitted on Oct. 8. The Bulldogs offered him on Oct. 19, and it took him around six weeks after that, but he’s made his decision to commit to Georgia on the first day of the early signing period.
A few commits have flipped to Georgia as of late. Four-star linebacker Elijah Littlejohn was originally committed to Penn State, but he flipped to Georgia on Nov. 23. Coastal Carolina three-star linebacker commit Terrence Penick flipped to Georgia as well.
However, Georgia’s class is now just No. 5 in the nation, partially because five-star quarterback Jared Curtis flipped from the Bulldogs to the Vanderbilt Commodores yesterday. They ranked are behind the Alabama Crimson Tide (No. 3) in the SEC recruiting class rankings.
