Georgia has added a commitment from one of the top sophomores in the country.
IMG Academy quarterback Jayden Wade committed to the Bulldogs on Sunday, Nov. 16 during a livestream with Rivals.
Wade (6-foot-4, 185 pounds) is ranked as the No. 1 overall player in the 2028 class by Rivals. He named Georgia over a top-6 that included Ohio State, Washington, Texas, Michigan, and Florida.
Wade told Rivals that his commitment has been set for some time now.
“We planned this at the beginning of the season,” Wade said after announcing his commitment. “I just wanted to keep in contact with them and show the loyalty that I have for them.”
Wade tallied 1,376 passing yards on 73-of-119 completions (61-percent) with 20 touchdowns and two interceptions. He added 254 yards and three scores on 32 carries.
“I love the program, it’s a winning program,” Wade said. “They’re a big culture and tradition team and I just feel like it’s home.”
Wade is the latest top-ranked signal caller to pledge to the Dawgs. Kirby Smart and company also hold a commitment from Jared Curtis, the No. 1 quarterback in the 2026 class (Rivals).
