The Georgia Bulldogs have 29 total commitments and the No. 6 recruiting class in the country (all recruiting rankings are per 247Sports) entering the early signing period, which runs from Wednesday, Dec. 3 to Friday, Dec. 5. Georgia suffered a major blow when five-star quarterback Jared Curtis decommitted from UGA and flipped to Vanderbilt.
The Bulldogs also lost a commitment from junior college offensive tackle Jarmaine Mitchell, who flipped to Arizona State. Georgia appeared to be ready for Mitchell’s decommitment because the Dawgs and coach Kirby Smart landed four-star offensive lineman Tyreek Jemison on early signing day. Georgia’s 2026 recruiting class also suffered a recent decommitment from three-star safety Kealan Jones, who flipped to Georgia Tech recently.
