Georgia football targeting Michigan transfer running back

The Georgia Bulldogs are looking to acquire a running back via the NCAA transfer portal. Elite Michigan Wolverines transfer running back Bryson Kuzdzal has lined up a visit with Georgia along with the Iowa State Cyclones and Rutgers Scarlett Knights.

The 5-foot-11, 210-pound running back is a former two-star recruit. Kuzdzal is coming off the most productive season of his career with the Wolverines. In 2025, Kuzdzal posted 76 carries for 326 rushing yards and four rushing touchdowns in nine games. He also contributed four tackles on special teams.

Kuzdzal is an unranked transfer for the time being, but there’s a lot to like about the Michigan running back. Kuzdzal is versatile and can contribute in a variety of ways. He has two years of eligibility left.

Kuzdzal ran for 100 yards and three touchdowns on 20 attempts in the lone start of his career against Maryland. He had the majority of his production in November and December this season.

Coach Kirby Smart and Georgia have already been predicted to land Kentucky running back Dante Dowdell via the transfer portal. The Bulldogs have lost running backs Cash Jones (out of eligibility), Josh McCray (out of eligibility) and Roderick Robinson (transfer) this offseason.
