The Georgia Bulldogs’ 2025 college football season all comes down to this. Georgia will play the Ole Miss Rebels in the quarterfinals of the College Football Playoff. If Georgia beats the Rebels, then the Dawgs will advance to the playoff semifinals and face the winner of the Miami Hurricanes versus Ohio State Buckeyes game in the Fiesta Bowl (Glendale, Arizona) on Jan. 8 at 7:30 p.m ET.
If Georgia wins in the semifinals, then the Dawgs would return to the national championship game (Miami, Florida) for the first time since 2022. The national championship will be on Monday, Jan. 19 at 7:30 p.m ET.
Georgia is favored by about a touchdown over Ole Miss in the Sugar Bowl, which will be played in New Orleans, Louisiana. The Bulldogs already beat Ole Miss by eight points earlier this season in Athens, Georgia. The Sugar Bowl is on New Year’s Day and will be televised on ESPN at 8 p.m. ET.
