The No. 3 seed Georgia Bulldogs (12-1, 7-1 SEC) will be wearing their classic red jerseys for the Sugar Bowl against the No. 6 seed Ole Miss Rebels (12-1, 7-1 SEC). Georgia is expected to accompany their red jerseys with silver britches and their usual red helmets in Georgia’s classic uniform combination.

Superstitious fans have a couple of different ways they could interpret the red jerseys. The Bulldogs wore red in their Sugar Bowl loss in the College Football Playoff to Notre Dame last season, but Georgia also wore red in their 43-35 home win over Ole Miss during the regular season.

Ole Miss wore navy blue in their home playoff win over Tulane. The Rebels are expected to wear white jerseys and white pants, like they did in their first meeting against Georgia. Ole Miss has a variety of different helmets they wear. In the October game against Georgia, the Rebels wore powder blue helmets. Both teams will wear a Sugar Bowl jersey patch for the game.

Regards of the outcome of the game, Georgia and Ole Miss have two of the nation’s best uniform combinations.
