Bailey Stockton intends to enter the transfer portal when it opens January 2, per reporting from On3.
The redshirt sophomore Georgia Tech wide receiver saw action in 11 games with the Jackets, including the 25-21 Pop-Tart Bowl loss to BYU on Dec. 27, 2025. As a freshman in 2023, he only played in two early-season games before redshirting, and in 2024 he saw action in all 13 games, finishing fifth on the team with 206 receiving yards and sixth with 17 receptions.
In three seasons, he’s recorded two starts in 26 games, 21 receptions for 233 yards and 1 touchdown, as well as 3 carries for 16 yards.
Stockton graduated from Prince Avenue Christian, where he went 49-6 under Greg Vandagriff to earn three region titles and two GHSA state titles. In the 2022 state title win over Swainsboro, he played while recovering from a broken collarbone and went on to score two touchdowns.
Stockton’s decision comes after former Georgia Tech quarterback Aaron Philo, a high school teammate of Stockton, announced his departure from the program.
Offensive coordinator Buster Faulkner also departed from the Jackets to join incoming head coach Jon Sumrall’s staff at Florida.
The Jackets went 9-4 this season.
