The Georgia Bulldogs remain the No. 2 team in the US LBM Coaches Poll. Georgia is ranked behind the No. 1 Texas Longhorns, who pulled off a 20-point comeback win over the previous No. 1 Ohio State Buckeyes.

Three top-10 teams in last week's coaches poll suffered losses in Week 2. No. 1 Ohio State, No. 6 Oregon and No. 10 Oklahoma all lost. Oregon lost to Oklahoma State and Oklahoma lost 17-10 to Michigan.

Georgia scored over 60 points again in their 70-20 win over the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers at home. Georgia wore all-white uniforms and built up a 49-0 first half lead. Georgia allowed Western Kentucky to score a few times and coach Kirby Smart was not happy with Georgia's performance in the second half.

"I was proud of the guys," Smart said after the dominant win. "Started fast, and gotta keep improving. That was the theme of the week. I did think that we got to improve in a lot of areas, and then we had some guys finish the game kind of sloppy that showed they weren’t quite ready."

Georgia received 15 first place votes while Texas got 42 first place votes. No. 3 Notre Dame, No. 4 Indiana and No. 5 Miami round out the top five.

The Bulldogs are 2-0 and play the Arkansas Razorbacks in Week 3. Arkansas is coming off a blowout defeat to the No. 17 Utah Utes.
