Get to know the Kentucky football roster: No. 92 Ben Duncum

School is out, and summer is approaching, and that means college football season is just around the corner. The Kentucky Wildcats will open up the 2026 season against Youngstown State in just 92 days, and we're counting them down. While we do so, we're also looking at the players who make up this year's roster. Wearing No. 92 this season is defensive lineman Ben Duncum.

Duncum is a 6'5", 255 defensive lineman out of Texas who brings versatility and loads of effort to Kentucky's front. He has played both inside and out, and has shown a nose for the football. He was rated three stars by 247Sports and ranked as the No. 632 overall player on their composite board.

Kentucky got the commitment from Duncum while Mark Stoops was still the coach, but he elected to stay with the program through the coaching change. He chose the Wildcats over offers from Oklahoma State and the Wisconsin Badgers.

There's no doubt that Duncum has plenty of upside. Finding his fit will be key, and he will likely not play a lot right away. He could even be a redshirt candidate. There's no doubt that Kentucky sees a bright future for him, though, no matter who the coach is.
