2026 projections: Meldey brings an intriguing skill set to the table. In high school, he predominantly used his speed to get into the backfield quickly, especially against the run. He also played both outside and inside linebacker. That said, he’ll need some time to develop, but he could be a very intriguing piece on defense for the Orange in the future.
How’d he get here?: Committed to the Orange in December 2024 over offers from Michigan, Penn State, USC, Florida State, Michigan State, Maryland, Cincinnati, Boston College, and Charlotte.
