Three-star defensive end Ma’atoe Moe changed his mind soon after he committed to the Gophers’ 2027 recruiting class last week.
The 6-foot-3, 240-pound edge rusher from Provo, Utah, announced last week he pledged to Minnesota during its first Summer Splash official visit weekend in late May. His social media post didn’t stay public for long, fueling speculation he wasn’t a solid commit to the U.
On Sunday, Moe flipped to the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
“When in doubt, wear Red,” Moe posted on X.
Minnesota is down to 26 commitments in next year’s class with two edge players in the group Kelsey Rose Jr., of Jackson, Tenn., and Roy Price of Newark, Ohio.
