GLENDALE, AZ — Ole Miss football‘s roster is expected to be intact heading into the Fiesta Bowl matchup vs Miami.

The No. 6 Rebels (13-1) face the No. 10 Hurricanes (12-2) in the semifinals of the College Football Playoff (6:30 p.m., ESPN) on Jan. 8. The game is at State Farm Stadium.

Ole Miss has not had any players publicly opt out of the game.

Backup quarterback Austin Simmons entered the transfer portal and reportedly signed with Missouri, but Ole Miss quarterbacks coach Joe Judge said Jan. 6 Simmons would be available at the Fiesta Bowl.

The Rebels don’t have as many projected NFL draft picks as they did in 2024, but there are still players on the team with NFL futures to consider. Defensive tackle Zxavian Harris will likely be the first Rebel drafted.

Tight end Dae’Quan Wright and linebacker Suntarine Perkins are two other Rebels suiting up for the game who are expected to be drafted.

Quarterback Trinidad Chambliss has also been projected as a probable NFL draft pick if his waiver is not approved to play for Ole Miss in 2026.

Ole Miss has two players in the portal besides Simmons: offensive lineman PJ Wilkins and running back Domonique Thomas. Wilkins is injured and not available for the Fiesta Bowl.
